I wrote this poem along with Do You Love Me, Dad? in 2009 after the Father-Son Army Day.
Do You Love Me, My Son?
Do you love me, my Son?
Then follow Christ;
For He must make changes to your life.
Do you love me, my Son?
Then protect your sisters;
Flowers need protection or they will wither.
Do you love me, my Son?
Then guard your eyes;
Do not fall for the devil’s lies.
Do you love me, my Son?
Then listen to me;
My wise instruction will help you see.
Do you love me, my Son?
Then follow my Godly example;
The Lord will make sure that it is ample.
Do you love me, my Son?
That, I need to know;
For if you do not, your life will show.
